Donation Drive!!!
Because of my recent frustrations with trying to provide adequate support and the control given by vBulletin, I have decided to purchase a license for the vBulletin forums. The problem lies in the fact that vBulletin costs $195 USD for a single license, and with my current physical limitations to be able to work, I do not have that kind of money.
In light of this, I am turning to the users of this script. I am asking you guys to help out financially so I can get the license and get the support forums back on track. It really does bother me that I script does not work for everyone as intended, and I really do want to help everyone get it working. But because of the lack of caring, laziness, or whatever you wish to call it on the part of some of the people who requested support I had to close the forums. It really was a painful decision, that I did not come to lightly. I mulled over it for at least a couple of weeks, and eventually got to the point of where I dreaded going to the forums each day for fear of what kinds of posts were being made.
However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I strongly believe that if we can get a forums software with more features to control those posts made, and a support system in place then we can remedy this problem, and then we'd be able to get the support to those who require it.
So, I am asking for your help. Any donations you can afford will go directly towards purchasing the vBulletin license ($195 USD). All donations are accepted by PayPal via a ChipIn widget. I wanted to personally thank everyone who donated during the donation drive. The goal has been met exceedingly quick and for that I am forever grateful. I have already purchased vBulletin and am currently in the process of installing it. Stay tuned for more updates!
